RaftCaps were designed to fill in the empty planting spaces on your raft boards. Their tapered design allows them to fit snuggly inside of any 1″ x 1″ planting space. Perfect for our 28-hole Beaver Lettuce Rafts.
For larger heads of lettuce and other crops, some farmers prefer to space out their crops. This allows for greater air flow among the canopy and larger crops. RaftCaps can fill in the empty planting spaces to reduce humidity.
Some systems experience water bubbling through the empty planting spaces caused by the air stones beneath the raft boards. This water percolates through the empty planting space and pools on top of the raft boards. With RaftCaps, the amount of water spilling onto the top is significantly reduced.
