Aquaponic Garden Curriculum Sets
Our aquaponic garden curriculum was developed over the course of a year working closely with a Colorado MESA (Math, Engineering, Science Elementary Achievement) School program. We wanted to be sure that we created an engaging, fun set of lessons that also met the Colorado Life Science Academic Standards so they could be used to fulfill classroom science requirements.
Here is what Stephanie Potter, the MESA instructor we worked with, had to say about the result:
“The Aquaponic Garden Curriculum Set is a must-have if you’re teaching kids about Aquaponics! The teacher guide is well-organized, rich in content, and contains hands-on, engaging activities. I found the background information, vocabulary, charts, and illustrations clear and incredibly helpful, as well as easy to understand. Having an aquaponics system at my school has been fascinating; having the curriculum that explains key concepts truly piqued my students’ curiosity. I highly recommend this outstanding science curriculum.”
Both curricula sets have been school tested, teacher approved and support the Life Science Colorado Academic Standards. Both contain a Teacher Section and a Student Section
