The HYDROS pH 4.01 calibration solution works on any pH probe, not just the HYDROS brand. We recommend using at least two points of calibration on a monthly basis to allow the sensors to provide the most accurate reading possible. Using 4.01 a single use packet achieves this calibration process. It is helpful to order enough packets to get through 3 months of calibration. Calibration packets can be stored in a cool dry area for up to 1 year.

Description
To calibrate your Hydros pH probe:
1. Remove the probe element from the water
2. Clean off any algae and bioslime using a soft cloth
3. Rinse with clean, fresh water
4. Open the 4.01 calibration solution and insert the probe into the packet
5. Wait until the pH displays 4.01 on the Hydros App
6. Once that is completed remove from packet, rinse with clean fresh water
7. Open the 7.01 solution (sold separately) and insert the probe into the packet
8. Wait until the pH displays 7.01 on the Hydros App
9. Return the probe into the reservoir being monitored
10. Discard the packets in a trash can.
