Expand Your Crop Variety

We certainly love aquaponics, but we also understand that it isn’t always the answer. We design several hydroponic options aimed at helping you to achieve your goals the best that don’t include raising fish. We are proud to offer sensible hydroponic food growing system solutions that can be stand alone or integrated into an existing operation.
Our food growing systems are designed to meet your unique goals, space, and budget. Wheter your project requires a stock layout or a custom design, our team puts emphasis on providing systems that maximize food production while keeping your garden resilient and beautiful.
Hydroponic or Aquaponic Food Growing Systems
Media Beds
The media beds are filled with LECA (lightweight expanded clay aggregate) which is an excellent soil-less medium for all types of growing. The expanded clay media is 12″ deep in each grow bed and super easy to plant in. The expanded clay pebbles provide a stable medium for the roots to grow and absorb water and nutrients.
Media-based systems are great for home and hobby scale systems so you can grow a wide variety of crops. In particular, large fruiting plants do really well in addition to leafy greens, herbs and other varieties such as:
Tomatoes – Peppers – Eggplant – Pole Beans – Squash
Cucumbers – Nasturtiums – Strawberries – Dwarf Fruit Trees
Self-watering AutoPot Buckets
The 1Pot XL System can be used for a wide range of root and vining crops. Its versatile design allows you to add as many pots as you’d like to a single reservoir. The pots and trays are easily moveable so that if the plants grow too large and begin to crowd their neighboring plants, you can space them further apart with ease.
Each AutoPot 1 XL Module can house 1-2 tomato plants, with an average annual harvest yield of 45lbs per plant!
All you need to do is keep the water reservoir filled with water and nutrients and this bucket system will take care of the rest!
Germination & Microgreens
The Growasis 4-Tier Nursery & Microgreen system occupies a floor space of only 8 ft², but has 32 ft² of production space!
The nursery is a fully automated hydroponic system with full-spectrum LED lighting included as standard. Each of the four 2′ x 4′ growing trays floods and drains automatically and can be set to any desired watering schedule.
Each tier has independent flow and lighting control so you can turn off the lights or water flow if you are not using a tier.
Microgreens are becoming more and more popular because of their quick growth rates, nutrient density, ease of growing, and delicious tastes. These specialty crops grow great inside of our nursery and don’t interfere with the germination process for your seedlings.
Custom Solutions
We can custom design an ecologically balanced hydroponic system for any scale. Our growing systems are based on sound principles, research, and experience and are engineered to be highly productive, efficient to operate, resilient and beautiful.
If your intention is to sell for profit then we will make sure your system provides the maximum production for your space.
So whether you’re interested in raising only one specialty crop or several varieties, our custom solutions empower growers to meet their performance objectives.

Components & Features
Plug & Play
Our systems are extremely scalable and can be connected to almost any aquaculture, aquaponic or hydroponic system.
We design our systems with features that allow for a simple hook up to most existing hydroponic or aquaponic systems either at the time of the initial installation or for a connection in the future.
Our systems offer flexibility in grow medium, crop variety, and growing technique. Whether your goals are to start small and expand in the future or to start on a larger scale, there are no shortage of options.

Independent Control
Growing your own food should be a peaceful experience. Our farms use ultra quiet aeration and independent controls for isolated management.
Monitor your entire operation from your phone! The Hydros Monitoring and Alerting System is extremely customizable and allows for real time monitoring of critical factors.
From individual grow beds flow control, auto top-off water replenishment, or lighting control, our systems allow for greater control and consistency.
You should enjoy working in your farm, not loosing sleep over it.
Food Sovereignty
It wasn’t long ago that we either grew our own food or knew the farmer who grew it. Most of our food travels over 2,000 miles from its origin to our plate. A tremendous amount of packaging, processing, energy and carbon emissions goes into distributing food to consumers. By the time the food gets to us, even healthy vegetables and greens have lost much of their nutritional value.
Growing your own food is the best way to ensure you are eating the freshest and healthiest food possible. Taking control of your food production creates greater food security and self-reliance. Hydroponics or aquaponics is one of the most efficient and productive ways to grow nutritious food year round.

Grow Lighting Solutions
Depending on your location or if you are in an enclosed building, your system may require grow lights to maintain optimal light levels and crop yields. Our design team uses real location-based data to determine how much light your plants will naturally receive, and tailors custom grow lighting solutions to provide the exact amount of light that your plants require.
We utilize highly efficient, high-output LED fixtures, controllers, and light monitoring systems. A lighting design layout, electrical plan and schedule can be created for each system.
Supplies
We offer a large inventory of all the supplies you’ll need to start up and operate your growing systems. No matter what you need, we stock the highest quality supplies available anywhere on the market.
We do not sell seeds or plants. However, we have everything else needed for optimal growing during the plant’s life.
Installation
We pre-cut and pre-assemble most components of the frame and plumbing components so you don’t have to.
Framing systems come together with the supplied hex key wrench. The grow beds drop right into the frames.
All plumbing connections are Quik-loc, uniseal or fernco connections so connecting the tanks and pumps is made as simple as possible.
All systems come with an illustrated easy-to-follow assembly manual.
Startup kits and instructions can come with every system so you can get growing right away.
Shipping
Larger systems ship on pallets delivered by a freight company. If your property doesn’t have a forklift or loading dock, we can schedule a freight truck that has a liftgate to lower the system from the truck. After that, it’s your responsibility to store the pallet in a safe location indoors where it will be protected from weather or being misplaced.
Every system is different and the size of the pallet varies from project to project. Part of our quoting process is to provide an estimate for the freight delivery. We do not upcharge on shipping, so when we invoice for the system, only the exact amount is billed.
We include insurance on all freight shipments. If damage occurs during shipping, we will send replacement parts and file a claim with the freight company. Your job is to notify us immediately of the damage and send pictures of the damage so that we can make the claim.
Growasis™ Modular Framing System
Our Growasis™ modular framing system is a lightweight tubular metal framing system that easily connects together with the supplied hex key and eyebolts. There are no sharp exposed metal edges anywhere on our deep water culture systems. The 1″ EMT pipe is pre-cut in our shop to match the frame style and dimensions you choose when you order. No metal cutting, welding or driving of self tapping screws is required to assemble our frames. Powder coated connector fittings and pipe are used only in areas of the frame that are visible or in contact with the ground.
Beaver Plastics Floating Lettuce Rafts
All of our Growasis deep water culture systems use Beaver Plastics Lettuce Rafts which we have been using successfully for years in our farms. Beaver boards are made from recycled food grade resins using Sealed Surface Technology® to resist water penetration and provide a smooth durable surface for long-term plant production. Beaver boards measure 2′ x 4′ and come with pre-cut tapered holes that fit our seedling plugs perfectly.
Important: We do not recommend purchasing and using insulation boards in food production systems. You will have to drill all of the holes which is a huge waste of time and money and a big mess for you to deal with. Insulation panels are also not designed or approved for use in food production.
Duraskrim Liner
All Growasis™ deep water culture systems come with Duraskrim Liner ® R20WW consisting of virgin outer layers of white high-strength polyethylene film laminated together with a black layer of molten polyethylene.
The liner is installed with a slight radius curve along the base edge to diminish outward pressure on the sidewalls. Liner is sized to come down the outside of the frame providing a smooth and clean finish.
Liner is fastened to the frame with white PVC liner clips that snap down on top of the liner connecting it securely to the tubular frame. The top rail of the trough has a smooth rounded finish. No hard or sharp edges, staples or other fasteners are required.
Aeration Systems
Growasis™ deep water culture systems come with a flexible aeration ring which creates a single loop of air diffusers placed every 4′ along both sides of the trough. The aeration tubing is weighted so it stays down at the bottom of the trough where it belongs. The aeration ring connects to a single bulkhead installed in the end wall panel. An ultra quiet Alita linear air pump connects to the bulkhead outside of the trough to provide constant aeration to your plants. Aeration systems are carefully sized to ensure proper airflow and pressure to the air diffusers.
Growasis™ Growlight Frame

Growasis 4 x 12′ Double Decker with Aquabundance 3 Bed System
The Growasis™ Elevated and Double Decker deep water culture systems have the option to add our powder coated metal light rack kit which integrates seamlessly into the Growasis™ modular framing system. The metal frame can also serve as a trellis to support vining crops.
