BE INSPIRED

Grow Highly Nutritious Food In Your Own Aquaponic Garden

Aquaponics allows you to grow your own edible fish, vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers together in a natural recirculating ecosystem. Aquaponics uses far less water than soil based gardening. You can grow your own food year round right in your own home, backyard greenhouse, garage, basement, wherever!

Like thousands of students before, you will leave the class with the inspiration and confidence to start your own aquaponic garden!

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

The Fundamentals of Aquaponic Gardening

New to gardening or never raised fish before?  No problem! Aquaponic Basics will introduce you to the core principles that allow fish, plants and bacteria to work together in a natural recirculating ecosystem.

Our class covers all of the basic information needed to design, build, and run your system successfully.  We will address common plumbing configurations, component sizing options, and give you all the tips to avoid making mistakes.

During the class you will see many different types of aquaponic systems from DIY units, fully engineered systems and large scale farms.

Keep It Simple

You can spend endless hours watching YouTube videos of other people’s experiments only to become more confused and unsure of where to begin. Or perhaps you’ve already built a system but are experiencing lots of challenges.  Don’t give up!

Join us for a full day of high-quality, focused instruction from our expert aquaponic team. You won’t regret it.

Join us for an amazingly informative day full of fish, plants, and bacteria!

We will cover all of these topics and much more

Aquaponic Farm Tour

We will take students on a behind the scenes tour of the Dahlia Campus Aquaponic Greenhouse. We will learn about how aquaponics can be scaled and used as a means for community food production.
